Feeling a bit down...

Posted by natasja at 01:04 PM on March 7, 2005.

It's been two years since my mother in law and aunt died, at almost the same day... Somehow this and the weather has gotten me a bit down :(

I'm getting melancholic over 80's songs, and already feeling like an old folk saying: "back in the old days, everything was better".

In the Netherlands many thing have become more right winged and this bugs me. When I went to highschool it was no problem to demonstrate. The only thing that could happen was that the police force would move you gently back to the Central Station. No problem!
But a couple of days ago I saw a demonstration of students and the police actually used their batons (O_o), this shocked me :( Also you have to bring your ID with you when you go outside. Bleergh, why can't things just stay the way they are?
Currently feeling: sad

What happened?

I've got no idea what Tabulas has changed, but it looked kinda spiffy (^__^). Due to popular demand ;-) I was able to switch my layout back to the old one. I hope to make a new version soon! Somehow the "styles" menu isn't quite clear to me (O_o).

Happy new year!

Posted by natasja at 05:33 PM on January 1, 2005.

I hope this year we will have:
- less wars
- less disasters
- less Bush (haha, sorry I couldn't help myself)
- less violent people

The news about the tsunami really hit me. It's so sad that people lost their relatives or all their possessions (-_-). It must be so weird that in a couple of minutes everything gets washed away (O_o) I heard that there were almost no animals harmed. It's because they have a sixt sense and all fled before the tsunami took place. I once read a whole book about this, how animals saved their keepers by warning them for fire or dragging them out of a building before it collapses.

A lot of European tourists, including Dutch ones are still missing. My parents have gone to Pucket in Thailand a couple of times, so I'm glad that they weren't on vacation there... It's just very sad and I hope that food, water, care and other help will reach all the people soon... If you have a little money left please donate it.

Dolls

Posted by natasja at 08:48 PM on December 12, 2004.

Uhm, I was in an early x-mas mood ^_^. Make some dolls yourself at Candybar. Use the print screen of your keyboard to capture the image and paste (CTRL+V) it in a new document in Photoshop/Paint Shop Pro.
